'Like A Girl' by Aparna Jain, published by Westland Publications, contains 51 stories of iconic Indian women in sports, science, arts, activism, law and and writing, their portraits rendered by 29 Indian women artists and illustrators. The portraits of Poorna Malavath, M.S Subbulakshmi and Mithali Raj, were rendered in linocut, gouache and photoshop.

Mountaineer Poorna Malavath, summited Mount Everest at the age of 13, the youngest woman to do so.
